Engine air filter
I just replaced both air filters at 71K miles. They were slightly dirty and could've gone longer but since I had the new ones, they were replaced. My 2013 Mini on the other hand, with 45K miles, had an extremely dirty air filter (so much for the service performed at the dealership...) -

Brake Pad Light
When I replaced both front and rear pads AND rotors on my 2012 LR4 I don't remember doing anything with the e-brake and it still functions fine. -

Or you could just fill the metal pan (prior to installation) with fluid and then pour it into the removed plastic pan and see if there's a level difference.... -

There is brake dust. I've gone the route of using ceramic pads to greatly reduce the amount of brake dust on my Mercedes vehicles but it came at a much reduced braking performance cost which I don't want to compromise. I'd rather clean the wheels more often than get into an accident. Can't speak... -

I don't know but I can tell you I installed EBC greenstuff pads and EBC rotors and could not be happier. A little more costly but I wouldn't risk putting possible inferior products on a $55K truck. So if ryanjl is correct (and I have no reason to doubt him) then the solution would be to install a relay wiring harness for the lights so that power is drawn directly from the battery. I would push LR on this though because it's their problem, not yours.... -

Does it happen with both headlights or just one? Do you have halogen or HID (Xenon) lights? It sounds like a wiring issue to me; perhaps a poor connection. -

Tranmission help needed...
It sounds electrical to me. It may have a bad Neutral safety switch. Do you see any signs of transmission fluid on the bottom of the pan? If not, I doubt it's mechanical. -
