    A quick update on the repair. My mechanic has diagnosed the problem as a sheared timing chain tensioner bolt. It sheared inside the block so he is working to drill it out and replace like for like or oversize the hole and add a helicoil.

    DonC you wrote that you have the towing option selected via Gap1. Is this an option in all LR4’s? I have been towing for a couple of years with no problems but if their is an option to get even better towing performance I’d like to use it.
