Lessons Learned Rebuilding 5.0 V8 2012 LR4 Engine
This is an excellent post. My 2010 LR4 LUX is in wonderful shape, sans fried motor due to the coolant system imploding last summer. Plastic coolant parts make no sense to me... I have debated a new to me motor swap, but at $10-15K plus - and around $20K for rebuilds - seems insane. Just... -

I decided to keep my LR4 after all.
I've had an MB GL, BMW X5 and now an LR4. For loading purposes, zero beats the LR4. Nearly perfect for loading fairly large heavy loads - in the cargo or pulling. The MB was not bad, but not as good, I did have the diesel and the towing was terrific. The BMW was too small. I can't for...
