Engine revs high upon start up
My 2016 LR4 HSE revs high ( Not above 2000rpm) when starting, then a few secs (4-7) later drops to 800. I asked the head tech at my dealer, he said its normal. Snorkel - How to
Contrary to popular belief the LR Snorkel kits are NOT for deep water fording but merely to keep a lot of road dust out of the engine mounted air cleaners. I would advise caution if you are thinking of trying to ford with it. Oh by the way, to really ford you would need an exhaust snorkel.- Daniel Stewart
