LT 285/65/18 Cooper Discoverer STT pro all terrain

Thanks for the pics! Great looking rig. I’m pretty much dead set on these tires. I know I’ll take a little hit but it’s not going to affect my decision. Thanks again.

LT 285/65/18 Cooper Discoverer STT pro all terrain

Do you have any pics of the ST Maxx on your rig? One the market for tires and just wanted to see what they look like installed. Can’t seem to find any good pics of them. I’ll be getting the 265/65r18 size. Which according to tiresize.com it runs 31.87” and weighs a hefty 57lbs. Any drop off in mpg?

    Terrafirma hidden winch install

First off great write up. In the market for a hidden winch mount. Would like to know how the terrafirma has held up. (The winch tray) any issues? My choices are the Devon or terrafirma.

Yes it is. Great trail. How do you like the tactical bumper? And one more question. Are you lifted over stock? Rods or anything?

    General grabber 255/55r19

I agree completely. I've looked at the duratrac and the Cooper's. Ill prob end up saving my money and ordering some mud tech raid 18's. Thats too bad they're not selling them stateside tho. Those generals look great.

    General grabber 255/55r19

So I've spoken with continental/general tires. They said the tire is not available for sale in the US due to legal issues. I also got an email from Devon 4x4 saying shipping them to me would be no problem. Wondering if these tires would pass customs if I did order them. They are the most...

A few pics of the rover on a two week road trip. Covered over 5k miles. Not a single issue. Except I broke the gas cap.

    General grabber 255/55r19

So Ive been looking for a new off road tire for some time. I was about to just buy the raid wheels by mudtech and get some all terraims... But I stumbled upon this general grabber at3 and x3 made in our tire size. Apparently they're huge in the UK. I've found them on a few UK tire sites. Just...

    Clunking sound front end.

I definitely plan on replacing the bushings but now that you mention it the lower control arms don’t sound like a bad idea. Found them on Atlantic British for a reasonable price already fitted with the “semi firm” poly bushings. This hopefully will solve the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! I hope you’re right and it’s not the driveshaft. I plan doing all the bushing, switching to poly. I’ve heard they wear out in high miles.

    Clunking sound front end.

So I recently purchased a 2011 lr4, 115K miles. Has flawless service record runs great etc. About a week after purchase i noticed a clunking noise when making a left turn from a stop. It sounded bad, like real bad to the point where i had to pull over and visibly inspect the underside of the...
