I have a Disco 5. However...It was supposed to come on it before I purchased it, so the dealer put it on no charge.
I am very glad I didn't pay for it, as it seems to be bossing around the LR apps, such as changing some of the settings on it's own. annoying....so I don't use it most of the time.
I don't think it is a shift issue, It would def be 1st. gear...going from a rolling 1 or 2 mph to normal drive it is an engine lag....However someone else on another forum wrote this....

FYI to those who have the issue, I learned from another forum...There IS a service bulletin on this, and there is a software fix due early next year. They are testing to comply with emisions reg's in the US
I've read about this common problem (I have it too) and I have seen people take theirs in for some sort of software update. To be clear, my issue is when I slow down and then accelerate (before coming to a complete stop), my accelerator is very slow to respond. Did this fix completely resolve...
I just traded a 15 Yukon Denali for my Disco. I got the black on as well. I love it...Rides awesome and handles great too. The Denali pretty much rode hard like a truck and vibrated after every bump. And...it didn't have any higher tow rating than the Disco.
You will love the Disco...at least I do.
