LR4 Suspension over the bumps
84k miles on my 13 LR4 and still driving smooth as butter. Duratracs aren't great, especially after 15k miles... That's a good place to start looking. Alignment is another big factor, before you start throwing parts at it. -

Do you guys even drive your LR4s? I put 26k miles in 15 months and not a single issue until I had 200 miles left on my extended warranty, which was a faulty fuel pump. Replaced it at the Dealer in Nashville and also had my windshield cowl replaced. I did all brakes and oil/fluid changes myself... -

To add some feedback experience to this post. Despite of my pads and rotors having plenty of life left last year, I replaced them due to uneven wear and vibration when applying the brakes. 10k miles later these brembos are suffering from the same issue. It is not noticeable upon harder... -

Usually a little squeaking that goes away after a couple minutes driving and using the brakes. Not very often thought, usually cold or after rain. -

I replaced all rotors and pads with Brembos on my 13 and yes, they still have the two types of pins. Removed and cleaned, relubed them. Make sure you remove the air bubbles when you insert the rubber covers for the pins. I will occasionally have some noise, which I blame the pads. Next time I'll... -

Love this topic, but everyone has their own perspective and experience. I had several vehicles, including Toyota (FJ Cruiser) and a Jeep JKU. The forums for Toyota are plagued with issues, especially for Tacomas. I actually see more issues with Toyota on their forum compared to the LR4... -

Absolutely no way, unless you had a tune. My 13JKU with a tune performed much better than other JKUs as far as acceleration and mpg with 35s on it. However, it does not come even close to 5.0L. -
Steering wheel shake at 50-55 not wheel balancing problem.
Reading all of this reminded me of my FJ Cruiser days when folks would put steelies on their trucks and have a lot of issues with balancing. So I second the post above mine. Could be something to look into as well. -

2012 LR4 Speaker Replacement
I found that there are other part number associated with LR4 such as XQM500520 for the lower speaker. Anyone care to chime in if there are any difference at all and why the discrepancy online?
