    Right. I just wasn't sure if the recommendation was that the old lug nuts should be replaced, or if it was a nice to have. I'll probably get them, once I've spent that much on tires/wheels, doesn't make sense to save money on lug nuts.

    Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I agree, "don't overthink this" is good advice. I didn't even think about the fact that I could just thread bolts with rubber washers into any unused holes. Duh. Again, thank you to everyone that has taken the time to offer the benefit of their experience!

    Yeah, I'm finding that out. I just want the holes filled by the rack. I'm not super picky about how everything looks as long as I'm not inviting water into the vehicle. :)

    Your LR3 looks great, thanks for the info on the Front Runner, I'll definitely take a look at them. I like the flat rack style.

    Definitive roof rack thread?

    Is there a definitive roof rack thread, kinda like the tire thread? My 2012 has the full length roof rails, which, based on what I'm finding, won't work with the ProSpeed flat rack, and a few others that I like. If I swap them out for the short rails, or no rails, will I be filling the holes...

    Ok, new 2012 LR4 owner here, and I've read all 84 pages of this thread. Yep. Looks like I'm going with the 18" Compos, and 265/65/r18 tires. I'm mainly in Northern California and Nevada, and I've had 2 sets of LT Duratracs on a Wrangler that did well in snow and sand. Right now, I'm seeing...
