Alternative sound system
Positive is routed from the battery and then grounded to one of the ground points for the taillights. You don’t want to ground anything to the battery negative terminal because it messes with the charging system.- Jimmy Brooks

Wow I did not know that but you guys are totally right. Again tho they are still pretty unspecific all suggesting the same thing but that makes it a lot easier because now I can swap the coil and plug with another cylinder and see if the issue follows. Increased Performance
if you really want better brakes I've seen some people fit the 10-13 RRS Supercharged 6 piston brake calipers to LR4. Only problem is you cant fit 18 inch wheels on them.- Jimmy Brooks

ZF8HP70 for ZF6HP28 swap?
If you can figure out a way to get the ZF8 speed into v8 LR4s you’ll hit the holy grail. The fuel efficiency and acceleration boost for the NA V8 would be so significant. Loosing a little bit of coolant
Yup, every time I take the LR4 on a trip I fear I’ll be stranded due to a cooling issue. It really is a poor decision to use plastic that just rots out in heat, especially in the summer here in California.- Jimmy Brooks

LR4 Valve Cover Gasket Replacement?
Just a question, do you have to pull the air conditioning lines that run next to the driver side valve cover to actually pull the valve cover off? my wheel hubs are due so I get a little shimmy through my steering wheel when braking from highway speeds. Need Part Numbers Please - Differential Drain Plug and Transmission Heat Shield
I think the heat shields only came on the LR3 Zf6 transmissions, I remember coming across this same thing in the workshop manual and researching it because mine too did not have a heat shield. I don't think any LR4's came with a transmission heat shield.- Jimmy Brooks

There is no readable value for the low pressure pump. Can you go WOT without any hiccups in the power band? Does it feel like all the normal power?
