FWIW, This only applies to 2014-16 LR4's, as LR changed/updated the oil spec on the SCV6. The V8 has a different oil spec. Now, not sure if the differences (oil spec for SCV6 vs V8) really matter, or was it just for gas mileage. Regardless, Interesting replies. I'll prob be going to a 5/20 or... -

Oil was 13.95, and Filter was 33. I'll be looking at AMSOIL going forward and another source for the filter. Thanks for all the responses. tim -

No, Out of warranty. I can't get an answer from Land Rover or Castrol regarding special requirements that make the Professional "E" unique, and why it's spec'd for the SC V6 motor. I'd think I could just use AMSOIL 0/20, and asked AMSOIL about it, and they said they don't make an oil that meets... -

Anyone found an alternative to the Castrol Professional "E" 0W-20 that can only be found at the dealer that is spec'd for the SC V6 in the 2014-16 LR4's? Just paid $188 for 10qts and filter. -

Is it dangerous to drive with these warnings?
unless I missed something, you need to find out why the steering wheel is so far off center, and correct that before you do anything, at least I would. -

Change the Supercharger OIL in SCV6?
Is there a procedure somewhere for this? Never heard of the SC having it's on oil either....
