Ultimate Towing Thread
I'm doing great towing a 23" trailer with my 2016 LR4, but I'm getting beyond terrible gas mileage. I'm pulling over every 2 hours to refuel, and it makes long trips a lot longer. LR3 Expedition Rack on an LR4 with Extended Front Rails?
I have a Baja Rack that I was told would work with the extended rails. What I had to end up doing was to remove the footing at the front of the rail because the rack wanted to mount in the same hole. Baja Rack for LR4
I too have the long rails and the manufacturer said it will work, but I can't figure out how to make the rack and the rails share the front mounting hole. Can you be more explicit on how you dealt with this? Any guidance appreciated. Thanks, Chris- Chris Robert
