Forgot to add . . . Its usually the front left latch that's the culprit per my Land Rover specialist. Just do a google search for LR3 hood latch and sources will come right up. Same with you-tube search for LR3 hood latch replacement.- ernest jarvis

Also, don't set your alarm - its tied to the same sensor and will go off. There is a sensor in the left front hood latch (there might be one on both latches, the latch will have a wire connection). You can try adjusting the latch or just replace the whole unit - easy to find on ebay, etc...- ernest jarvis

no heat in cabin, coolant loss, roof leak, boiling water in expansion tank all related?
Check out the AC drain lines. Don't think its your problem but could be a contributing factor. Look for an independent Land Rover repair place. In the Houston Tx area the go-to place is British Unlimited. I got a 2006 LR3 last year with 100k miles. So far so good, just minor problems. The Nav...- ernest jarvis

NAV Center Not Recognized
Its a Garmin Drive Smart 65. Pics on their website. You probably don't have blue tooth either since its connected to the same circuit as the Nav. The Garmin unit has blue tooth so solves both problems.- ernest jarvis

I have a 2007 LR3 with the same problem. Purchased it about 4 months ago and have had problem since day one. The info screen comes up and the 4x4 display works. When the nav option is selected it says "nav not fitted". The nav computer is a dvd drive under the drivers seat. Raise the seat fully...- ernest jarvis

Current info on installing back up camera?
I'm using a Garmin 65 smart drive for navigation on my 2007 LR3 HSE. It fits right over the original nav screen. Garmin has a blue tooth rear view camera which mounts to the license plate and works quite well.- ernest jarvis
