Service advisor said it was going to easily be over $2k for the job and mentioned that they couldn't guarantee it would run right or the same. In any case I found an indie shop that looks promising.- Ridgewoodpilot

The original intension were cross bars. It really wasn't about the cash as much as the extension of the rails to accommodate more rack types and cargo boxes. Atlantic didn't have this type. Hi just picked up a 2013 LR4. Love it. I'm looking into roof rails. I like the extended rails they have on Amazon although they have bad reviews.
