Timing cover oil leak killed my alternator - 2013 Range Rover sport
I just had my alternator replaced and the mechanic said the timing cover is leaking on the alternator and killed it. He figures it'll cost $4,000-$4,500 to fix the leak if he doesn't find any other issues, such as a coolant manifold leak. I think it's a fairly slow leak and think I saw someone...- mikewsf
