It’s going to be freezing here in Texas so I figured I would hook up my heater again. It’s been bypassed.
I forgot how the lines were run. Can someone share a pic or diagram of theirs?
Issue persists after I had a shop evac the refrigerant and recharge. Compressor clutch isn’t engaging. Funny though, tech said system was full & didn’t need any refrigerant.
He thinks it’s an electrical issue and we checked fuse but it was good.
I live in Houston and there’s a shop that specializes in JLR here called Euro Amp.
One day I’ll stop by their facility and get some shots for the group.
Anyway, they manufacture metal replacement cooling system parts for AJ engines. Here’s a link to their site...
Front driveshaft was my issue. Picked up a salvage unit and installed it to solve the problem. Still haven’t installed JXB carrier bearing - low on priority list BC this thing doesn’t really get driven a lot anymore.
I haven’t seen anything written about the armrest cover replacement process on LR4’s (yes it’s the same on LR3’s) so here it goes:

Has anyone ever used Monstaliner on their L319?
My 1992 FJ80 was Monstaliner and it held up well in the Texas sun. It was quite popular amongst the Toyota bros.
I’m thinking about doing the faded roof panel in my LR4. Just did the hood with a Topo vinyl blackout and I think a white...
Where do you live?

Keep $15,000 tucked away for the occasional engine swap.
Beyond that, ensure you replace the entire cooling system at first purchase unless you have documentation proving it was done within the prior calendar year.
That + 5k oil change intervals and keep an open ear for any timing chain...
New plugs cured the issues. No more misfires and acceleration is fine.
Averaging about 20mpg on the highway so fuel mileage isn’t a concern.
Now I’ve got a P0430 code that won’t go away
