SCV6 Engine chatter/knock
I had my go out in 2024, the one that faces the opposite direction to the other pulleys, it took out the serpentine belt and a whole bunch of other things, for me the morale of the story is to check these bearings every 40 to 50K miles. I renewed all idlers when repairing the belts. -

Coolant Issue driving me crazy
Another failure point is from the back of the water pump to the oil cooler; there's a small plastic pipe that connect the two and often the o'rings will start leaking. You will need to use your bore scope and look down in to the front of the "V" for any coolant (down by the oil filter). The... -
