The transmission since to change gears when needed except when in a very stiff hill with turns where you can’t acelérate like you would when in traffic. What am trying to say is that there is no check engine on my dashboard and that the hesitation is there no matter the road condition, was that also the problem you were having? My truck used to be quick to respond when I step on the gas pedal and now it takes time before it responds.- Manny1969
