I wasn’t going to do that again...Boot wouldn’t open.
Well it finally happened, boot wouldn’t open and I was stuck working from the inside. 1. Watched the online help videos 2. “Created” a tool to help. 3. Got it opened 4. Replaced actuator 5. Built a DIY pull release so I never have to do it again. (Although it probably won’t ever happen...- JARentDTOM

Steering rod/column not covered - exposed coming out of floor?
Hello. I recently purchased a 2015 Range Rover Evoque. I noticed that steering rod/column coming up through the floor is exposed. In fact, my slightly oversized floor mat rubs against it which I can feel as I turn the wheel. Is that normal for it to be exposed or should there be a covering/boot...- agombash
