1993 RRC noob

Hi forum (does anyone actually read these (almost-) compulsory intro-posts)?

Weeell, here goes:
The mrs. and I have just bought & brought a 1993 RRC V8 EFI.
Unfortunately no manuals came with it and I'm currently scouring the net for every tidbit of information available.
"A'write, all U need is a RAVE CD", Yeah, right. Not. I'm not quite yet inclined to delve into the "metaphysics" of our V8.
If and when that time comes, I'll probably buy a workshop manual, but right now, we're GUESSING how to operate the multitude of buttons; eberspacher heater (with partially readable display), undecipherable warninglights on the dashboard
et cetera, et cetera - I'll stop whining now, but we'll really appreciate help, hints, links..

If landroverworld practice sticky-posts with link collections/articles, please DO point me in their direction.

The rave CD is basically the workshop manual in PDF form... but it really doesn't say much until 94 MY.. http://www.landroverresource.com/ you can download it here for free though it may help.

Provide a pic if possible and we can help out the best we can.

Oh and I do my best to read every intro on this forum... I do miss one once in a while though.
