Can you add a Rear View Camera in the 2008 Range Rover Sport HSE?

Hello!

I just purchased a 2008 (new) Range Rover Sport HSE from a dealer. The plan was to add a rear view camera on the rear view mirror (or via the display if of course possible)..........However, they kept it for a cople of days, but they claim that the circuitry or such is not compatible!!

I am still of the belief that there has to be a way! So can anyone help please!!! Thank you!!
