Disco 300tdi drivers door lock barrel

Hi,
Just stripped down the door on Disco 300tdi to investigate failed lock. The culprit is the plastic ring at the end of the lock barrel. It has cracked in two. Unlocks OK but can't lock because crack opens up when key turns clockwise. Over optimistically tried super glue but no good.
Any ideas ? I never use the passenger lock because the alarm always starts growling so could swap barrel but given that the drivers side one is marked RH I guess they're not 'swapable' ?

don't think you can swap them... but you can get a used one fairly cheap. Try contacting your local breakers.
