I have a 1997 Disco and I don't know why my intermitten wipers don't work. The slow and fast operations work fine but the intermitten doesn't work at all. Is there a seperate fuse or relay that makes them work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Still say the switch is bad.... Don't get me wrong I have made mistakes before, but I would bet that is the issue.

Wipers same problem

have the same problem but it is self induced..........please listen. Does you rear defrost and Cruise control work?????.... They are all tied to the same fuse. I beleive it is a 10 amp Number 23 in fuse box.. My Cruise died and alarm would not go away a constant beeeeeeeeeeeeep. Removed fuse and others stopped working WIPER DELAY/ CRUISE/ REAR DEFROST/ but wipers still worked but no delay. Dealer said this would happen. Fixed Cruise and replaced fuse and delay came back 1997 Disco se7.

Wrong fuse port

Sorry I told you that it was number 23 /10 amp in fuse box. It is number 18 /10 amp fuse. Just went out there and did a little experiment turned on wiper and intermitten works. Pulled fuse and it didn't work but regular wipers do. Well that is how it is on mine. That fuse controls, Cruise / rear veiw mirror defrost / and intermit wipers. Not Cruise / rear window defrost / ect....Hope this helps out.
