land rover discovery fuel problems

Hi can anyone help me please. The discovery is diesel. The fuel is getting to the filter but it is not getting from the filter to the pump to the injectors.
Any ideas warmly welcomed. Many thanks

May sound dumb, but did you take out the filter and blow through it backwards? Or was it recently replaced?
