Have wanted a Rover for over 20 years and we found the right one at the right time. We have been living in Dominican Republic for a while and were planning on staying. My father in law could use some help and my wife is his only child. He lives alone out in the country and would like us to move in with him. We had sold our vehicles when we moved to the DR along with all our stuff. This seemed like the perfect time to get our LR4. Bought it in greater Miami area at the dealer that originally sold it. It's a 2011 HSE Arctic Silver (ice blue) with tan interior. 30k miles and it's certified. Having three years and 70k mile on the warranty was also a huge determining factor. Our closest dealer is two hours away in Kansas City. I wrench on all my stuff, so that will help with oil changes and brake jobs. Have been using the forums to learn all I can about such things and look forward to new and different ways of doing things. Father in law has a very nice heated building so winter won't stop me.
Sherri drove it to Ann Arbor, Mi to see relatives before heading to Mo. I'm waiting on our things to get out of customs and will be driving Uhaul truck there next week. She got 21.1 mpg on the trip north with our girls and cat. They all love Roxie the Rover.
