i recently had two flats and my rover was sitting in a friends driveway forever, waiting for the tires to arrive(about 3 weeks). i started it up today and the battery was dead. almost all the way dead . so i got a jumpstart and gave it some gas and i figured i would let it idle a bit to get some juice back into that battery. if i let off the gas it will just die. so i put a small brick on the gas to give it about 2000rpm constatly for about 10 minutes. still afterwards it would do the same thing. starts up fine, doesnt sound all the way charged, but starts. any idea whats wrong here? im hoping its the battery being low.

There is a good chance that your battery is still alive. You need to run your motor for more than 10 minutes. Usually 30 minutes +. Take it for a long drive. If, however, you get it to start, and have run it for awhile, and it dies on you as you drive away, the battery is stuffed, as it's no longer is holding the charge.
