Hello

I recently purchased a 2007 LR3 and am am overjoyed with the purchase. In the trip computer, there is an option for Rearview Mirror Angle (On/Off). It is not in the manual and I have not been able to find anything on the internet. If anyone has any idea what this does, feel free to post!

Thanks

mirror dip is an option - and a cool one. But even if you don't have the option, it will still show up in the display. If you do have the option, set it to on...then to adjust, put the truck in reverse and adjust the mirror to where you want it. Subsequently, when you put it in reverse, the mirror will dip down to that position to help with backing up.

Im going to have to assume that its that then. But I know in the trip computer it says Mirror Dip and I dont have that option. It says Rearview Mirror Angle.

I guess it will be a mystery.

No mystery, like I said even if you don't have it, it shows up in the display. All is normal.

i have a 2005 LR3 (seven passenger) my tailgate quit opening yesterday. It makes the unlocking noise but it doesn't open. Anyone have suggestions?

If you've had to make this repair, how much did it cost?

Personally I don't like it one bit so you probably aren't missing anything. Only once in a while, if you are actually backing into a spot next to a curb, it would be nice to have the mirrors dip so you can see how close you are to the curb. But when you are backing out of your garage (every single day) and you want to make sure you don't rip your mirror off on the garage door frame, it is very frustrating to have the mirrors pointing at the floor of your garage.
