I'd like to mount a cornering light here!

Have any of you ever tried this?

yessir i've cut it out neatly and installed LED lights there. Stock factory LED lights were an option offered to fill in that spot.

OP, did you end up going with the LR factory option? Wondering if VPLAV0066 requires the separate ECU (VPLAV0076) as well?
