crank no start
2003 D2 4.6 SE, 110k cranks, no start. it would start intermittently often times with a spike of RPM to apx 1500 then it would settle down to apx 750. problem has been going on apx/ 2 months now it sits. Actions taken: *no thrown codes *lock/unlock 4x's *set inertia switch *checked fuses... -

rear crankshaft oil seal
I have a 83 Series ex-mod here in Virginia USA. I'm replacing the rear crankshaft oil seal and the 5-bearing engine supplement says nothing of using hylomar on the seal. What do you folks do? Hylomar blue or not? Thanks. -

D1 "rumbling" at 2000 RPM
I have been given many opportunities to "get to know my disco" lately. Heres one for you guys and girls.... 97 D1 189k when in gear and accelerating at 2k rpm travelling @ 45 mph the engine rumbles and i get the rumbling feedback in the steering wheel. odd thing is that the rumbling... -

DI stuck in park, ABS, cruise control
Hello. any replies to this post is greatly appreciated. Disco 1 1997 180k auto trans 1. the truck will not shift out of park. no traumatic trans clunking...running tops and will not shift after i parked it. prior to this problem i went though a creek about 2 ft deep without any problems... -
