2 q's about 94 Disco landrover (windows and check engine light)

1. my front pass and driverside window do dont work anymore? is there
a way to see if its a problem with the motor or the regulator or just
an electrical problem?

2. My Check engine light came on.. is this triggered by sensors or by
miliage in this car?

Not sure about the windows, but the check engine light I believe is triggered by mileage and concerns emissions. The module is under the passenger seat , check discoweb for info to reset it. Sorry I could not be more hepful....

You have probably only blown a fuse. Refer to your owner manual to locate the fuse and change it out. This should solve the problem. If not, get back to us.

Is it red in color or yellow? There is a code read out on your truck under the passenger side seat. It should display one or two numbers. When you obtain the numbers go here to determine the codes/issues:http://www.fourfold.org/LR_FAQ/RR/FAQ.Engines.Fault.Codes.html

i have changed the fuse.. and the windows are still not working.. and the check engine light is yellow..

i checked the box and its reads code 45...

" Code 45 - Lambda sensor B - right bank

If one of these fault codes is displayed check the wiring to that particular lambda sensor.

If both codes are displayed, the voltage supply to the heater coils of the sensors must be checked. Refer to test 26, continuity test procedure. "

not sure what exactly that means though..
