Well Joey - the OB reader is now all fixed and working. The LR dealer says the SES light is on due to a faulty MAF. Is this something I can fix on my own later?

Seems that no faults were coming from the trans - which is really good news. I'll just have the fluid changed and a new filter and hope for the best.

Cheers

the MAF sensor can cause some Transmission issues as well... forgot about that.

Buy some non residue contact cleaner and remove the MAF sensor and spray thouroughly then let it dry for about 20 minutes, reinstall and you should be good to go.
