99 D2 question

D2 I have a 1999 Discovery II. I have had three occurances of where we drive somewhere and the car will not start. After leaving the car for a couple of days something resets and it starts and rund ok. I think it may be in the security system.

Question #1 Anyone else have this problem?

Question # 2 Is there a way to disable the damn security system?
