On the back of my center console there is a auxiallry plug and somehow someone kicked it and broke half my plug that inserts into this hole, has anyone ever taken their center console out and is it a tough job? I still am baffled why landrover puts that aux plug in that place and not somewhere near the radio.

You can likely pull the panel with the aux input and seat heaters right out of the console. It snaps in and out.

Great so sounds like I won't have to unscrew anything? I tried to get that piece out of the aux input with no luck

I don't recall any screws. It has about six tabs that snap it in/out. An interior trim panel tool set works the best; however, I suppose you can you any thin and skinny pastic piece that you can slip under the rim. Becareful, as the tabs are somewhat easy to break off.
