dash warning lights staying lit with the key off

I have a 97 range rover 4.0 It's been sitting for awhile needing an air bag for the right front suspension. I finally got around to having it taken care of....also put a new battery in it. When starting it up for the first time...all of the dash lights lit including all of the warning lights....so I shut it down and removed the key.....all of the warning lights stayed on.....help. I diconnected the battery for now to shut down the lights....thanks

Could be a little corrosion issue... I would try to let it run for a minute after checking all the fluids to make sure nothing serious is wrong.
