diagnostic scan tool

hi guys,i'm in the market of buying a scan tool.do i just need a basic scan tool?they sell them at british atlantic.
they have the basic,enhanced and professional w/c one do you think i should get?

Depends on 2 things

1 = just pulling and clearing codes? Just buy a basic OBDII Scanner
2 = wanting to actually change things on your Disco? Then this will cost you $1500 or more for one that does the job more than just reading codes and checking basic mechanical items.
