I did EBC green but then i also found that they have a couple grades of green so i'm not sure which mine ended up being. The rotors are the black coated, slotted, dimpled. My set is for UK 17" wheel fitting but the braking feels just as good as it ever did before and my lr3 usually weighs 7200-8200 lbs depending on solo vs 2 people and roof tent & rack vs empty roof.
HD pads often suck for modulation in normal conditions so the highest temp/etc are not always better for every type of use. I'd rather have what works well all the time and replace more often but we can also use the sport shift to gear down on long hills.
