HEEEELP. i am the proud owner of a freelander TD4 GS with 106000 miles on the clock, but i am having a problem with smoke pluming out of the engine bay once it has reached temperature. the smoke appears to be working its way up from the bottom of the engine bay traveling up both sides of the engine.when the engine is revved more smoke seems to make an appearance. i have just had a minor oil leak repaired today but the smoke is still putting in an appearance. could this just be oil residue burning off or could it be an indication of a more serious problem? any suggestions will be greatfully received.
