freelander owner

Hi All Have a small problem with my 2001 freelander petrol The clutch pedal is starting to stick halfway down its ****** and only returns when pulled back up manually ! Is there a quick fix solution as i dont think the clutch is on its way out .I think there may be a spring that can be changed somewhere or is there more to this than i think any help would be much appreciated

Moved to the correct area...

Wish I could help, I haven't worked on a freelander yet, but I do recall this issue on some older American cars and trucks, this issue usually mean a actuator was going bad.
