Anyone know if the hood can be wrapped with a single piece, or is it too hard to stretch it over the corners, such that you really must have a cut line there? Ours has the front edge wrapped, and I'd like to apply a black bit to the raised part of the top, but it will overlap the existing. Hoping to not lose the protection on the front edge, I'm thinking of wrapping the whole hood in clear, then overlaying the black on top. Trying to decide if this is something I can DIY, I can get a single piece of vinyl that should be large enough to cover the whole hood for under $200 I think.

Vinyl comes in 48" wide rolls, so you can measure and see if it will cover it.

Oh, it comes wide enough, it's more whether it can stretch over the corners in a single piece without seams.
