I was also puzzled about the $1500 coupon. I have 2 vehicles less than a year old not planning to purchase another for quite a awhile.

A coupon for discount on accessories would have probably got me back to the dealer with my wallet open though.

their marketing dept isnt THAT smart...they should really think about how and why people spend their money (giving a gift check per say to a new owner doesnt really have a long life in my opinion...they are tapped out...well at least it is supposedly "transferable") if given the OPPORTUNITY...give someone a coupon for $100...they'll probably spend $300. Duh.
