We got the Disco that we were wanting. Here is a link to the 2004 Disco .

I was wondering, does anyone have a 03 or 04 with the third row seats? If so, do you know how easy it is to take them completely out? I have absolutly no use for them, and I'd like to be able to put a speaker back there.

That is interesting that the ebay description mentions that it has xenon headlights, when in fact they are not. Oh well, the shape of the light assembly makes it easy to make that mistake.

I also have a 2004 SE7, you can see pictures of it in my gallery here: http://www.landroverworld.org/photo/showgallery.php/cat/500/ppuser/124

You can also check it out in the "Mod and Photo Thread" http://www.landroverworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=404

As for the seats, I actually use mine quite often. I believe though that Andy (Moose) might have some instructions on how to remove them. You can PM him or wait for him to look at this thread.

Congrats!

I have the installation instructions -- lemme know if you want help, and we'll go through 'em backwards to take those seats out.

They should fetch a pretty penny on LRX.com or Ebay...

I just took the driver's side jump seat out of my 2004. It was very easy -

1. Put the seat about half way between all the way up and all the way down.
2. Pop off the plastic trim piece over the floor hinge.
3. Unscrew the 4 13mm bolts that hold it on (maybe 15mm, don't quote me).
4. The hinge is spring loaded a bit. Not that your seat will shoot across the garage when you take off the last screw, but enough to put a little pressure on it.

Hopefully installation is the reverse. I haven't gotten to that part yet. I have to assume the other side is similar.

Putting in a DVD player back there for headrest mounted screens. So far I've figured out how to take apart a LOT of the Disco.
