Well I was bored and Amazon was having a great price on winches so I decided to put a hidden one in.

The Winch I got from Amazon $400 with free shipping.
The mount came from uncle Ray in the UK about $600 shipped.
Winch rope and the slimline hawse came from OK offroad about $300
Made up some cables at west marine and picked up some boat canvas snaps for the license plate to snap over the hawse to be hidden $100.
Total price about $1400.

Great looking install. It looks slim enough that it could be done on a rig with the park distance sensors and they would still be functional. Any thoughts on that possibility?

That is FREAKIN AWESOME!! Love it. Nicely done. I too have an "Uncle Ray" part. My front skid came from him. Great guy to deal with.

This is so cool! I want a similar set up on my LR4. I contacted Rasta and they make a bracket for the LR4 as the front changed some.
