I received B13C2-86 and B13C2-96, both referring to the windshield misting sensor. From what I understand, this little bugger controls the activation of the a.c. compressor to maintain a set humidity within the cabin.
Step 1. Order part number LR058011 (MY14-16)
Step 2. Locate the humidity sensor cover and remove it by pulling one side away from the windshield, using even pressure. I started with a plastic pry tool, but ended up just using my fingers.
Step 3. Unclip the sensor from its windshield mount. Pull up on the lower edge of the clip and slide the sensor down towards the dash.
Step 4. Remove the purple connector. It was in pretty tight. I used a small jeweller's screwdriver and broke the sensors retention tab.
Step 5. Install the connector into the new sensor, ensuring it is fully seated and reverse the steps for a complete installation.
The humidity sensor cover clips back onto its windshield mount with a firm push.
