Finally got around to ordering some lighting essentials. For a while I wasn’t sure if I’d go LazerLamps from the UK or find a cheaper, American option. Some Toyota guys and overlanders recommended ExtremeLED’s. Turns out the quality is up there with Ridid and Lazer for a fraction of the cost. Normally, I’d fork out the extra cost for assurance, but the return policy and warranty was too hard to pass up.
Ordered a pair of 8” combo bars at 2,880 lumens with an IP67 rating. Lazer claims 3,400 lumens, but for my purpose and about $300 cheaper I couldn’t pass up Extreme’s deal.
Land Rover doesn’t seem to make any ideal brackets other than bumper mounted. Knowing Lucky8 carried ProSpeed, made a quick call to them and had them ship a pair of brackets.
Will be posting photos and a quick DYI for those considering auxiliary lights. Haven’t come across too many threads on lighting choices so figured I’d toss this out for anyone interested.
