I use Griots stuff. They have a nice interior cleaner and paint clay. And a kick-**** wheel cleaner - melts away break dust.

If I must do it myself, I am with Houm, I use Zaino. I really like their detail spray and use it mainly on my Viper. A really good Zaino product for the LR3 I've found is the clay, nothing rubs out bugs and trail crap like that stuff. The tire detail is sticky and long lasting too although it does not do a high gloss like some of the other stuff.

My best advice though? Get a good mobile detailing service, just have 'em pull up on a Saturday and do all your vehicles, it's a big hit with my wife.

If 'you' do it ...do it right;

I second the 3m clear bra, paint sealant, then wax. I did and every night/every other I hit it with detail spray using a microfiber cloth. If I stay on concrete, I wash every two weeks sometimes a bit longer and it still looks better than the day I brought it home. Should be good to go for quite a while (don't forget proper wash supplies).

I concur, Griots is good stuff. The best part is they sell kits that may include everything you need at a discount.

Drive it Hard and put it away Wet

Leave the pampering to the guys with the Escaldes and the Porsches. You own a 4 wheel drive not a limo (or did you put 24" spinners and chrome sidesteps on it?). A spotless Land Rover is is an unloved Land Rover. JMHO.
