Just tried to find the Pirellis on a TireRack and a few other places (just to see) and they all showed back order. I'm a bit bummed I couldn't get what I wanted, but these tires are going to cost me less than $800 total and they come pretty well rated. We'll see.

My Synchrones were just toast. One blown tire, and one tire with a nail right next to two patch spots from previous nails. They couldn't get it to hold air. Two tires in one day. Sweet. Construction biz is not good for rubber.

I think that is the price for the 19". The 18" should be far less (around $160 each), correct?

Are you all looking at the 255/60/18 size with 112H or the 260/60/18 size with 110H? Would the 260/60 be alright for the LR3 with the 110 load rating or is it better to stay safe with the 112 load rating?

Just an update on the Bridgestone Duelers in 19. VERY similar, if not better, than the Synchrones. I drove them about 400 miles today to go skiing and they were very smooth on the highway and did great in the snow (what new tire tread doesn't). I would sometimes hit 85-90mph today on the PA turnpike and didn't even really notice how fast I was going. That's a good sign on the ride. Highly recommend for road use. This is not an aggressive tread tire, by any means.
