In 1991 I had my suburban type vehicle converted to propane. Contrary to a lot of advice I got at the time, I did not experience loss of power or poor mileage. I was quite happy with the vehicle and drove it untill 2005 when I bought my 96 LandRover Discovery.
Now I'm wondering about converting the L/R over. Reason for the conversion would be primarily gas prices. Gas is $1.35/ltr as opposed to propane $.67.
Has anyone tried or heard of this?

I did some minor research on this and found a site called propaneconversions.com. They mostly had kits for toyotas but had kits for any v-8 that could fit a 4brl carb manifold. I like the idea of it.
