I completely removed my SAI system after the valves failed causing the pipes to heat up and melt my break booster air line. I am just doing some final touch ups on my 2003 disco 2 before putting it up for sale, i am concerned that it will not pass an inspection. Even though the SAI system only runs while the engine is cold.
The pipes going directly into the exhaust manifold are completely blocked off. If i were to replace everything again it would be a major hassle and i cannot afford it.
So my main question is, if for some reason, the new owner were to have it go through Alberta inspection, would it pass? I would feel pretty ****** if it would prevent them from re registering it. The vehicle is is great shape aside from that and would hate to see someone get shafted into the steep bill that would generate.
