Yow, that can't be!

I drove from South Carolina to Kansas city and averaged 18.75, manually computed off of miles driven/ gallons consumed.. The dash told me 18.5, so pretty close to reality..

I would have to guess that's a bug with JLR meaning it should read KPG but reads MPG. I am assuming by the speedo that this is a non US vehicle?

at any rate, from Cali to Seattle, we averaged right around 24 mph (fill up calculated, not computer) for the trip. My wife averaged around 24.5 mpg and I averaged about 1 mpg less than her. We ran cruise control most of the time at around 70 MPH. We took mileage and gallons at every fill up and stopped the pump at the first click (which I always do anyway).

Ours is a 2015 Lux

I have an international model. If you toggle between imperial and metric (selectable option), it will read out as Liters per 100km for economy in kms mode. Otherwise it will read MPG for miles mode.

I must have a lead foot, in city start and stop I get 13 and highway 70-80mph I get 23-24 on my 2013. I'm telling myself it's the ethanol they mix in our California gas...

I'm getting about 21 mpg on premium gas in the warmer months, and closer to 16-18 during the winter.
That is a good 80% highway driving.

I just finished a Denver to Houston round trip with minimal city driving while in Houston and on board electronics returned 21.4 mpg. Typically see in the 16-17 range in my normal routine.

Those numbers are high. Do you all drive like senior citizens?

My 2014 is getting 13mpg.

That's after 12k miles of mostly bay area city driving.
