Shrill Sound From Under The Hood!!!!

Hey guys,
When my Disco is idling in park or drive, it makes a loud constant high pitched squeal. It sounds like its coming from the front of the engine and I think that its belt or pulley related. It only does this when the engine is hot and the sound stops as soon as you press the accelerator. Any ideas?

You have two idler pulleys near the front of your engine. Original spec where plastic - known to fail. My first guess is that your squeal is coming from the left-side idler pulley asking to be replaced with a proper steel replacement.
