Here is a link of mine that has over 100 pictures showing a process to recover your discovery headliner board with new material.

http://good-times.webshots.com/album/562103877LVFbUK?vhost=good-times

The New Material already has the Foam Backing Bonded to the Cloth, a Total Thickness of 1/8th as Original.

These are the Same Materials my Company has Installed through our LandRover Dealerships here in Florida for over 23 Years.

If your thinking about a Color Change?

We have been converting the Discoverys for Yeas from Beige to Black!

If your Discovery happen's to have the Beige or Tan Seats with the Black Piping your Vehicle would Great Changing the Color from Light Beige Headliner to a Black Headliner. Ill add a Link for you to see what one looks like in Black too.

Here is a link to over 100 Picture of a Discovery Headliner Being Recovered and Installed.

The New Material Has the New Foam Backing already Bonded to it from the Manufacture all you need to do is to Bond the New Material to your Existing Headliner Board once removed as seen in the Pictures above.

Another Idea for you to consider!

If your Seat Covers are either Tan or Beige with Black Piping your Discovery is a candidate for a Color Change. We have been Giving the Discoverys a New Look with Reversing the OverHead Colors from Beige to Black.

Here is a Link for you to see what a Discovery can Look Like after the Color Change.

Last month I finally gave up on my headliner and tore the whole thing out. I still have it, (maybe now that I've read Bill's info I'll do something with it..) but I actually can't complain about the rough/mean look my old Disco II has without it! I'm still looking for the right place/way to mount the switches/lights in the back.
